Floral Express Shipping/Instructions for Fresh Flowers

Your floral express kit should include:

· Cardboard shipping box & Styrofoam cooler

· packing peanuts(refrigerate day before)

· 2 ice pack bags (freeze 24 hrs prior to shipping)

· paper towel

· 1 crystal life floral packages (we provide)

· plastic bag (provided)

· rubber bands

· shipping labels (2)provided

You’ll need:

· water

· shipping tape

Let’s get started:

Flower Preparation

IF your flowers are long stemmed, mix a package of crystal life floral food into water and soak some paper towel in mixture wrap stems with wet towels and pull plastic bag around them and tape.

IF they are in an oasis holder, pour some of the flower/water food mixture into the center of the bouquet Mist or sprinkle the flowers with the mixture (DON’T SOAK THEM) Cover flowers with a plastic bag. Set aside for now.

· Take peanuts out of fridge

· Place frozen ice packs in the bottom of cooler and tape down. Then fill with ½ or less of peanuts

· Place bouquet however best to fit in the cooler. Standing up is best but if too tall, lay on one side. Also remember to place boutonnier and mother’s corsage in beside the flowers. They should be in plastic bags –no water!

· Add remaining peanuts around and over bouquet. DON’T CRUSH or pack too tight!

· Place 1 shipping label on top of the peanuts!

· Place lid on cooler and close cardboard box over and tape securely

· Tape shipping label on top of box and make sure it’s secure so as to not come off easily in shipping.

· We at Valley Freeze Dried Memories will NOT be responsible for damage during shipping. Insure properly 3-5 times amount paid for flowers. Usually at least insure for $500

· Double check the entire box, be sure box is folded and or taped securely and address label is legible.

· Ship to: Valley Freeze Dried Memories, 4694 S. 775 E.

This must be shipped overnight express and pictures taken before packing your bouquet so you’ll have proof of the condition of the flowers prior to shipping. We prefer DHL or Fed X.
